On April 22, 2014, a large group of the New England Chapter members were present to witness New Hampshire Governor Maggie Hassan sign into law SB 15, dedicating a portion of NH Highway 101 as "101st Airborne Division Screaming Eagles Highway". The Chapter has been working on this for several years and the signing event was eagerly anticipated by all.
After the signing, a presentation was made to Governor Hassan of the Airborne Division Flag, and Certificates of Appreciation were presented to Representative Fred Rice and Senator Lou D'Allesandro for their work in accomplishing this great honor.
